Judith Guest

Judith Guest was born in Detroit Michigan in 1936. She graduated from high school in 1954 and furthered her education at the University of Michigan. At the university she studied English and Psychology. She graduated in '58 with a BA in Education. Within just over a year of graduating, Guest had gotten married, started teaching a grade one class and gave birth to her first child. In 1970 Judith Guest had written a short story and submitted it to National, she placed 60th out of 100. This achievement was the kick off too Judith's writing. Judith Guest has written five novels; Ordinary People, Second Heaven, Killing Time in St. Cloud, Errands and The Tarnished Eye. Judith Guest and her family currently live in Minnesota and she is working on two new books. One is a sequel to The Tarnished Eye and the other is a sequel to Second Heaven.
